Editorial standards

Every page is built from a claims ledger in which each factual statement carries its source, its evidence grade and the date we fetched and read the source. Statements about human evidence cite human studies; statements sourced to rat, mouse, swine or ferret work are labeled with the species, and a claim graded as a human RCT must resolve to a randomized human trial. Pages are reviewed against the ledger before publication, and the ledger ships publicly at /evidence.json so the review can be repeated by anyone.

We cite peer-reviewed journals, FDA pages, ClinicalTrials.gov, the Federal Register, PubChem and the WADA Prohibited List. We link free full text (PubMed Central or Europe PMC) wherever it exists. We do not cite vendor pages, forum posts or clinic marketing as evidence for any factual claim; where forum practices are described, the citation is a peer-reviewed review that documents them. Fetch dates are recorded for every source, and fda.gov pages are archived at fetch time because they change.

The pack behind this site records its build date (2026-08-14) on every page. We re-verify the FDA compounding lists, the trial registry records and the WADA list when new versions publish, and we update pages when a new human study of ipamorelin is indexed. The most likely meaningful event, results for NCT01280344 finally appearing, would trigger a same-week update.

If we got something wrong, reply to any email sent by this site with the claim and your source. Corrections that survive a check against primary sources are applied to the page and noted in the page's dateModified; disputes about interpretation get resolved in favor of the more conservative reading of the evidence. The site identifies its author as the Ipamorelin Co Editorial Team and does not claim named clinician review where none occurred.

Counts shown on this site (citations, study rows, species tallies) are computed from the site's own rendered content and can be recomputed by script; they are not external claims. The '33 fetch-verified citations' figure is the count of entries in the numbered reference list rendered from the monograph, and the source-type census (24 peer-reviewed, 9 government or registry) is computed from the same array. The '16 studies' figure is the row count of the study-results table; '3 human rows' is the count of rows whose species column reads exactly human; and '0 human trials of the marketed goals' is the count of human study rows in body composition, muscle, fat loss, anti-aging, sleep or recovery (the human rows are pharmacokinetics and postoperative ileus only). Trial statistics such as the p = 0.15 endpoint result are not site counts: they are anchored claims citing the published trial, and they are excluded from the verifiable-stats block on purpose. The claims behind every number ship publicly at /evidence.json, so the recomputation can be repeated by anyone.
